Origami Competition

05 December 2025

Grade I & Grade II

An Origami Competition was conducted on December 05, 2025 for the students of Class 1 and Class 2. The aim of the event was to encourage creativity, improve fine motor skills, and introduce the young learners to the art of paper folding. Students participated with great excitement, bringing colourful papers and showing eagerness to create different shapes.

The children made various simple origami models such as boats, butterflies, birds, flowers, dogs, and paper fans. Teachers guided them with basic folding techniques, while students explored their own ideas and applied their imagination. The competition helped them learn precision, patience, and hand–eye coordination in a joyful and engaging way. Many students decorated their creations with crayons and stickers, making their models even more attractive.

Students from both classes participated enthusiastically and confidently presented their finished origami models. The activity not only enhanced their creativity and concentration but also created a lively and enjoyable learning environment. Selected students were appreciated with certificates and encouraging remarks for their excellent effort.

The Origami Competition was a successful and memorable event, giving children an opportunity to express their creativity and enjoy hands-on learning through art.
